Whitecroft from the Air164 viewsSummer 2006. The pool is open ready for the dogs to go swimming. Morning sunshine on the large duck pond. The farmer to our east has just harvested his field.
Ready to Dive?89 viewsThe diving board on our outdoor swimming pool, on the morning of September 19 2006. A nice, bright, warm early autumn day. The water, although heated, is quite cold --- but it looks inviting.

The Electric Meter Reader94 viewsThe electric meter reader arrived and couldn't find the meter. I had to hobble down the track and show him that it's a little door that's part of the fence. Fortunately, he had a key to open the door. (We've asked Scottish Power for a key about a dozen times, and they keep sending us the wrong key.) By the way, doesn't everybody take a photograph of the meter reader guy?
Whitecroft Track, Afternoon of September 24 2006159 viewsWe put a couple of bales of haylage on our track (we had to move them from the stable yard, as we were removing a piece of farm equipment). They haylage does not block our track. I noticed today that our neighbours have a visitor, and the visitor has parked in our track, parallel to our bales of haylage.
Rainbow Over Whitecroft89 viewsSunday afternoon, October 1 2006. It rained quite a bit, and then the sunshine came out -- and, with the sun, the rainbows. Must dash to look for the pot-o-gold in our loft. . .
Ah, autumn is here!83 viewsWe had lovely warm dry weather in Germany but on our return home it was pouring with rain and has continued. Good ol' England. Here are the storm clouds above our house.
